There have been countless times that I've had people tell me they wished they could sew. Some of them have a sewing machine but haven't the slightest clue where to begin, and others just want to pick up sewing as a new hobby. I did some research last year when I was looking for some advanced classes to broaden my skills and I couldn't find anything. Unless you want to become a pro at making pajama pants and heirloom dresses, there aren't any options around Birmingham for exciting sewing classes.
Starting January 2011, Korora Studio will be opening its doors for all you soon-to-be sewers! We will be offering both beginner and intermediate sewing classes - Intro to Sewing, Fashion Lab and Home Lab. The classes will be small, so go ahead and sign up to make sure you have a spot!
