about

My career path began in the world of fashion retail. While pursuing a degree in Interior Design from Samford University, I worked with Applause Dance Wear and Soca Clothing learning the ins and outs of running a small business. Together these jobs allowed me to delve into every aspect of fashion. I assisted teams and individuals with costume design and styling, attire for everyday and special events, and learned about merchandising a store. Upon graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design and a Minor in Art, I received a design position with Krumdieck Architecture + Interior Design. My time spent with Krumdieck was one of growth both professionally and personally, but my love for fashion and styling just wouldn't subside. After four years in the interior design field, I knew it was time to pursue my true love - fashion.

In May of 2010, I started Korora Designs, a small business offering a fashion accessory line and styling services for both commercial and individual clients. Thus far I have had the opportunity to style an internal communications video for Verizon Wireless, style photo shoots with photographers such as Mathieu Schmutzler of TBIB Creative and Rob Culpepper Photography, and provide various personal styling services for special events. It's been an exciting journey already and I'm looking forward to what the future has to offer.

Fashion, like any art form, is about creating and making something your own. My goal for Korora is to encourage people to find that expression.
