I am apologizing in advance for my absence over the next few days. I will be catching up on some much needed relaxation and sun rays down at the beach. Yipee! Have a happy weekend.
Love these handmade olive oil soaps from Anderson Soap Company. The soaps are made in various forms: bar, liquid or even whipped in a cute little tub. In addition to these yummy soaps, Anderson Soap Co. carries lip balm and numerous vegan friendly items.
Among her many talents, Cynthia Rowley has designed a collection of fancy BAND-AIDS, and when I say fancy I mean they look like sequins. They are called Dress Up BAND-AIDS. Check them out! They are freaking adorable.
Last night was the first Korora photo shoot and boy was it a blast! I collaborated with the talented Rob Culpepper of Rob Culpepper Photography. Check him out. He's awesome. And the lovely Kristen Booth was our beautiful model. The full shoot will be up soon, but here's a sneak peak!
I just found this adorable shop, Spiro Creations. They are a husband and wife duo that handmake all of their products. How adorable is that? I have to say the little, yellow ballet flats are my favorite!
It's pretty insane how many creative people can live in one little city. This is the first of a regular blog post called LOCALS which will feature the talent here in Birmingham. This week's feature is the fabulous Miss Claire Cormany. You may know her from her graphic design contributions to Flower and Coastal Living Magazine or her days as leading lady of Kiss Me at the Gate. Musician, designer, fashionista, or painter: Claire is a burst of fresh air to the art community in Birmingham. Her current passion is her painting. Her abstract landscape paintings have a unique quality while being universally appealing. You can see Claire's work in person this weekend at Art Walk 2010. She will be located at the Rogue Tavern parking lot, 2312 2nd Avenue North. Go check her out!
