A LITTLE INTRODUCTION

My name is Morgan Gillespie. I am an Interior Designer from Birmingham, Alabama. I graduated in May 2006 with my Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design and an Art Minor. I have been working in the industry for the past four years at a local architecture firm.

Before my interior design career started, I had jobs in fashion retail. While I was in school I worked at Applause Dance Wear, a local dance apparel shop. I was able to work with both groups and individuals designing and styling costumes. After graduation, I got a job at a little boutique called Soca Clothing. It's an adorable little shop in the heart of Downtown Homewood. You can check them out at www.socaclothing.com.

I've had an internal struggle with which route I wanted to take in life: interior design or fashion. I finally came to the conclusion that I don't have to decide. I can do both. After a great deal of brainstorming and encouragement from good friends, I am starting a little online fashion boutique called Korora Designs. I am hoping to officially have everything up and running in July or August, so please stay tuned!

Along with Korora, I will be freelancing as an interior designer.
